Todd W. Arnold Joins UtiliPoint International as Executive Advisor
Albuquerque, NM, March 9, 2010 - UtiliPoint International, Inc. has appointed Todd W. Arnold as Executive Advisor. This newly created executive role will provide strategic advisory services to the board, executive management, investors, select clients and key business partners. Mr. Arnold retired from Duke Energy on January 31, 2010 after 34 years of service, most recently serving as Sr. Vice President, Smart Grid & Customer Systems.

Mr. Arnold's career began at Public Service Indiana (PSI) where he led numerous functions through two merger integrations with the PSI/CGE combination and most recently integrated Cinergy and Duke customer service functions. He has a track record of successfully leading organizations through transformations that increase service quality while reducing costs. In his latest role, Arnold led the building of Duke Energy's Smart Grid scaled deployment platform. While at Duke Energy, time the company received regulatory approval for full deployment in Ohio and was awarded the maximum $200 million DOE Smart Grid investment grant. Mr. Arnold's innovative Smart Grid leadership resulted in an industry leading meter data management platform and a transformational customer information system strategy that will enable customer benefits to be delivered rapidly at scale.
