Cupertino Electric CFO Named Private Company “CFO of the Year” by Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal
San Jose, CA, November 16, 2012 - Construction and engineering company Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) announced that Chief Financial Officer Marjorie Goss has been named private company “CFO of the Year” by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal. The CFO of the Year award recipients were revealed at a special event in San Jose, California on November 8, 2012.

About Marjorie Goss
Marjorie Goss oversees treasury, risk management and finance as chief financial officer of CEI since 2007. She joined the company in 2006 as director of finance and has led the selection and implementation of financial systems. Prior to joining Cupertino Electric, Marjorie served as controller of Kinetic Systems, Inc. and previously held positions as corporate controller and treasurer for private corporations based on the east coast. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern Maine School of Business with a degree in business administration (accounting) and, while in Maine, designed and built a 3,200-square-foot, passive solar, super-insulated house that was heated and cooled for $200 a year through the incorporation of thermal mass, double-wall construction and insolation theory principles.
