Peter Keating Joins ConEdison Solutions as Federal Programs Manager in Washington, D.C.
Washington, DC, January 7, 2013 - ConEdison Solutions, one of the country’s leading energy services companies, has named Peter Keating to the position of Federal Programs Manager. Peter will manage ConEdison Solutions relationships in Washington, D.C. as a member of the company’s Falls Church, Virginia office.
Mr. Keating will leverage his knowledge of federal processes and his extensive network of contacts in the federal space in support of ConEdison Solutions’ substantial energy services portfolio. He will focus on program coordination and sales support for the company’s energy services sales team for both governmental and commercial clients.
ConEdison Solutions is designated as a “Qualified Energy Services Company” by the Department of Energy and the Department of Defense. Additionally, ConEdison Solutions has done extensive work for the U.S. Postal Service as an approved “Shared Energy Savings Contractor,” twice being awarded its distinguished Quality Supplier Award.

Before joining Con Edison Solutions, Mr. Keating worked for PS&S Global, where he managed programs that leveraged the economic and technical benefits of Energy Savings Performance Contracts and Power Purchase Agreements.
Mr. Keating is a decorated combat veteran of the United States Marine Corps, with more than 25 years of distinguished service. He has held a number of highly visible positions in the military, including Executive Assistant to the Under Secretary of the Navy and Director of the Marine Corps Operational Readiness Branch. He was also a Marine Battalion Commanding Officer and Deputy Director of the Marines’ Iraqi Security Forces Directorate during Operation Iraqi Freedom. In addition, he served as Director for the Enterprise Information Technology Architecture Branch and as a Logistics Analyst in support of various Marine operations and programs.
Mr. Keating earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Long Island University in Brookville, NY. He also holds a Master of Science degree in management and logistics from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey CA, and another Master of Science degree in national resource strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces at the National Defense University in Washington D.C.
