JOB PURPOSE:
Under direct supervision, identify and document compliance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) regulatory requirements (FERC, NERC, RFC, etc.) for the Company's electric utility business units including T&D Planning, Transmission System Operations, Power Supply, IT, HR, and Corporate Security. Work with the various organizational stakeholders to ensure complete and timely compliance with all regulatory requirements through the development, organization, and tracking of appropriate documentation, policies and procedures.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

General:

Capable of managing multiple assignments and priorities concurrently. Capable of getting things done smoothly through others without having direct authority. Able to recognize and resolve deficiencies in processes and procedures. Achieve annual performance objectives and goals established with supervisor. This position may require the working of flexible hours to meet critical deadlines and occasional travel for conferences and training (<10%).

Process Support:

Identification of all applicable regulatory requirements (NERC, FERC, RFC, etc.) and corporate policies applicable to the Vectren electric utility business units and critical cyber asset protection. Identification of existing and development of new Company procedures and documentation required to ensure compliance with applicable CIP regulatory requirements. Development and maintenance of a compliance management program that identifies all requirements, responsible parties, schedules and documents to ensure compliance for all CIP regulatory and corporate requirements. Development and utilization of an audit and tracking system that monitors and maintains records that document and ensures compliance with all applicable CIP regulatory and corporate requirements. Document procedures and establish performance measures for applicable processes.

Represent the Company on committees at organizations (FERC, NERC, RFC, etc.) as assigned. Work with Company subject matter experts to identify and document all applicable cyber security and critical infrastructure protection business processes and documentation required for compliance. Identify all changes and additions to CIP compliance requirements and business processes; communicate changes to affected business units, and develop plans to implement and document changes. Assure all levels of management and all affected parties are kept aware of key issues and changes and meet required timelines. Monitor progress on key aspects of CIP compliance requests to meet standards. Facilitate an ongoing governance process with monthly and recurring meetings with various levels of management.

Emergency Response:

Duties associated with emergency response to various storms and events that require personnel to work various duties with extended hours at alternate locations. Occasional controlled and uncontrolled overtime may be required during abnormal labor conditions with work in various capacities at various locations depending on company needs and situational requirements.

Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Certifications
Required:

Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or other related field or equivalent experience.

Preferred:

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with an emphasis on cybersecurity.

CISA, GIAC, CISSP, or similar certification.

Experience
Required:

0 – 2 years knowledge and experience in Information Technology, or related experience that would allow for the development of that knowledge rapidly.

Preferred:

Knowledge and experience in electric utility operations, regulatory compliance and/or

procedural development of a similar nature

Functional / Technical Requirements

Required:

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications. Possess the ability to quickly learn and use other PC applications. Proficient in research techniques and development of compliance processes and procedures

Preferred:

Excellent communications skills – both verbal and written. Demonstrated experience with control systems, network, server, desktop, or other systems. Understanding of cybersecurity tools and techniques commensurate with experience
