Electrical Engineer (Distribution) -- (Job Number:302167)
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with 1+ years of experience with a utility and/or utility consulting company doing design engineering. This may also include a recent graduate with a technical background in power systems. This position will be a member of a design team comprised of engineers, designers and CAD technicians. Experience in utility distribution design work package development including, but not limited to overhead, URD, and underground cable/conduit design work packages is desirable. The team is responsible for the assessment, testing, evaluation and development of design bid packages for complex cable/conduit projects in dense urban environments in compliance with client's engineering and construction specifications, field engineering of project requirements, coordination of conflicting utilities, work permit development, ensuring quality control and safe work practices, maintaining compliance with project scope, schedule and budget.
- 1+ years of experience with a utility and/or utility consulting company with design engineering
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
- Bachelor's Science Electrical Engineering is required.
