Reports to the Project Controls Supervisor, this position is responsible for the accountability of providing all portfolio reporting, assessment, cost control and scheduling functions for TE&PS projects. Responsibilities include onboarding projects and monitoring projects against budgets, forecasts and all aspects related to cost control and schedule within the TE&PS portfolio of projects. Provides leadership with financial reports and generates partnerships with other TE&PS customers. Consolidate project cost control reports for portfolio reporting Perform all project schedule and cost related updates throughout the lifecycle of projects assigned. Reconcile forecasted, actual and budgeted costs. Participate in development of project controls standards and guidelines Develop metrics and measures for the TE&PS projects Interface with Engineering, Construction, Planning, Project Management and other Transmission partners to verify updates to schedule and cost related activities Analyze project progress and make recommendations as to forecasted cost projections Support documenting lessons learned and peer reviews. Perform final project assessment to ensure compliance with PCG standards Track and monitor project commitments, costs, and change requests received against the approved estimates. Enter project schedules into P6 database. Support project manager with regular project schedule and cost reporting. Notify Project Manager of cost overruns, underruns, and schedule delays in a timely fashion. Provide regular reporting to TE&PS on overall Transmission Project Portfolio. Prepare reports, dashboards and key performance indicators. Perform project cost and schedule audits on selective projects as required by management. Perform project lifecycle conformance audit. Act as liason between PMO and CARB/PRB on portfolio prioritization and budget project list preparation. Interface with Transmission Budget Planning concerning portfolio projections in comparison to Transmission operating company and budget targets. Perform all duties in conformance with established Business Ethics and Compliance principles
Education: Bachelor Degree in a related technical field, such as Construction Management or an Associate degree in a related technical field and equivalent experience.
PCA III: 2 years experience as a Primavera scheduler or project controls experience acquired through 2-4 years in a scheduling function.
Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
Occasionally, overnight travel may be required.
