This position will provide change management and communications expertise for business initiatives and projects; Applies Prosci methodology and manages all aspects of change management needed to ensure employee adoption and usage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Execute ownership and leadership to implement a change management process including procedures, processes, standards, and controls.
Collaborates and networks with others to fully understand project(s) scope, stakeholders, and change impact associated to the organization
Develops a change management plan based on awareness of the details of change and the groups impacted
Develops and manages project change management schedule and milestones
Assures systematic approach and use of change management methodology, templates and tools
Assures appropriate integration between project sponsor, project manager and stakeholders to identify and address change management issues
Assure stakeholders and customers of the project deliverables are engaged and that issues/concerns are appropriately vetted in a timely manner
Supports and directs project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans and provides direct support and coaching to employees and management as they work through transition
Work with other projects and departments to integrate a standard change management discipline
Collaborate with subject matter experts for business enhancement.
Collaborate with internal departments and project teams to produce and align consolidated change management plans
Manage critical relationships with internal stakeholders
Designs and produces quality written and visual communications to meet the needs of communication plan (executive letters, videos, SharePoints, etc.)
Uses desktop software packages to create print and electronic media
Enters data for initiatives into SharePoint sites/portals and other databases as appropriate
Maintains clear and consistent communications by adhering to department policies, procedures and styles for consistent look and tone
Develops and manages project change management schedule and milestones
Performs other duties as assigned



 Three to five years experience as department or project change management lead.
Bachelors degree or equivalent/comparable work experience.
Previous lead role in development and delivery of internal and/or external communications; or in development and delivery of internal training programs.

Must be able to translate plans/policies into specific goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables
Ability to adapt and change as business needs change.

Desired Qualifications
Change Management and/or Project Management certification
Masters degree a plus
Previous project experience within utility industry.
Working knowledge of applicable laws and utility commission rules.
