Atlantic Heat Treating (2001) Ltd. is a company that heat treats metals for tool and die makers. This process involves the use of large electricity powered furnaces which operate at very high temperatures and therefore require considerable maintenance. We are currently planning an expansion and upgrade of our electrical system and therefore require a qualified person who understands the complexity of our equipment and can provide troubleshooting and maintenance skills


Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Certified Engineering Technologist (CET)

Experience: 4 years or more

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Area of Specialization: Design, Development, Testing, Operation Type of Industry Experience: Energy, Electrical utilities, Manufacturing, Building services Type of Equipment, Systems and Controls


Electric motors, generators, drives and motor controls, Programmable controller devices, Building systems, Lighting systems, Industrial processes
