Vivint Solar, a leading provider of residential solar energy systems in the United States, is pleased to congratulate Paul Dickson, its vice president of operations, for being selected by Recharge News for its 4040 Initiative, an initiative designed to bring together young new-energy pioneers in a unique forum scheduled for October 2, 2014.
"I can't think of a person more deserving of this selection than Paul," said Greg Butterfield, CEO of Vivint Solar. "As a member of the founding management team at Vivint Solar, he was instrumental in creating our business model that saves homeowners money, and is largely responsible for helping us to raise our initial investment funds."
As vice president of operations, Dickson is responsible for developing and overseeing Vivint Solar's integrated approach to providing distributed solar energy where we fully control the lifecycle of our customers' experience, including the initial professional consultation design and engineering process, installation and ongoing monitoring and service. Before being named vice president of operations, Dickson helped to establish the strategy and structures used to finance Vivint Solar when the company was in its infancy.
"I am honored to be selected," said Dickson. "I'd like to thank Vivint Solar's executive team, our employees and, most importantly, our customers. It's taken a lot of hard work, but it is worth it to give homeowners an affordable way to save money on their energy bills and help the environment.
The 40 were selected by Recharge after extensive consultation with the renewable energy industry about almost 100 people who were originally nominated. Full profiles of the 40 will be published on the Recharge4040 website and in a special edition of Recharge magazine in July. During the coming months, Recharge4040 will carry out a series of activities to highlight the work and projects of the different members of the group.
