NextEra Energy is currently seeking a Renewables Fleet SCADA and Controls Engineer who can apply diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments and fields related to wind, solar, and battery storage generation projects. This position requires the use of advanced techniques and modification and extension of theories, precepts, and practices. Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Devises new solutions to problems encountered. Job may include other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Areas of responsibility will include Renewable Energy site customer support, troubleshooting Solar, Wind & Battery Storage SCADA and controls systems, identifying root cause of issues and designing and implementing countermeasures to improve performance.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred skills include:
- Working experience with PLC's and Function Block Logic is a must (Modicon PLC knowledge is desired).
- Working experience with Wonderware Classic and System Platform is strong plus.
- General Ethernet and Serial networks experience is strongly preferred.
- Object oriented programming experience preferred.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 2-5 years of experience in the area of Industrial Controls.
