Description
Delta Star, Inc., a leading transformer manufacturing company is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Field Service Engineer.
The job duties will include assisting the Field Service Engineering Manager and Field Service Manager with daily business needs in the department.
Responsibilities:
- Review customer specifications and compile the information into a usable work scope for our technicians and or sales team.
- Review documents from our field service technicians and organize the information into a field service report for submittal to the customer in a professional and time fashion.
- Provide oversight and technical assistance for new transformer installations.
- Assist in the development and refinement of SOPs for the betterment of the Delta Star team.
- Provide support to our technicians and customers so that challenges are resolved promptly.
Requirements
Requirements:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or a similar field of study with an understanding of transformer operations and components. Experience is preferred.
- Able to read and understand ANSA, IEEE, IEC, and similar standards as they apply to transformers and our service capabilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft office software and the ability to learn our vendor's software.
- Team player that is focused on continual improvement.
