Description
Welder:
Delta Star, Inc., a leading manufacturer of power transformers has immediate openings on 3rd shift for experienced welders.
Candidates must have the ability to layout and read blueprints and assemble parts and weld per specification maintaining high standards of Quality and Production.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Oxy-fuel torch and perform oxy-fuel cutting operations
- MIG/TIG weld
- Weld metal parts together using brazing and any combination of arc welding processes
- Operate overhead crane
- Operate cold saw (band saw) and iron worker and basic hand and power tools
- Perform any combination of the arc welding processes
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Certified welder with 2 or more years of experience preferred
- Must pass a 4G FCAW test and a 3G aluminum MIG test
- Able to maintain a high quality weld - cosmetic and structural
