Description
This positions is responsible for the development and deployment HR strategies to manage talent, drive the culture, and align the organization across multiple locations.

  • Lead, develop and coach the HR staff across multiple locations in the US and Mexico.
  • Drive the import/export of internal talent. Assess and select top talent and coach managers on the process.
  • Measure effectiveness and sustainability of policies and practices in alignment with values. Use assessment tools and metrics to diagnose organizational issues.
  • Review organizational structure, systems, and processes to ensure they support business strategy. Ensure the readiness of the workforce to meet the needs of the business.
  • Build managers' leadership capability. Use coaching skills to influence behavior and business decisions to be consistent with values and ethical standards.
  • Provide guidance to handle elevated employee relations issues.
  • Use performance management results to assess effectiveness of talent strategies and coach managers on the process.
Requirements

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR.
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct HR experience in manufacturing or supply chain.
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or equivalent required.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Master's degree preferred with a concentration in Business, Human Resources, Labor Relations, Organization Development or a related discipline. 
  • Green Belt certification a plus, along with demonstrated knowledge of Six Sigma. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to partner with the management staff at all levels
  • Change agent with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, able to energize and motivate both direct and indirect organizations through thought leadership, energy, commitment and force of will. 
  • Results-oriented with strong bias for action. 
  • Strong organizational, leadership and follow through skills. 
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment.
