Description

Primary Responsibilities: 

Travel

  • Perform onsite technical services on customer jobsites as requested.
  • Perform onsite setup and teardown of equipment before and after jobs.
  • Perform site walks to assist in planning for upcoming jobs.
  • Complete post job documents within designated times to close jobs.
  • Follow Scope of work forms to execute jobsite tasks.
  • Assist with jobsite Safety plans for testing
  • Work and consult with the Large Transaction Team to bid and execute projects.
  • Provide technical assistance to customer when needed to complete testing/operations.
  • Ensure all equipment on jobsites is tested and in accordance with CRI standards prior to customer testing.
  • Address any field changes that need to be made to the Scope of Work or Safety plan with the Project team and Regional Ops Manager.
  • Ensure all jobsite safety requirements are met for equipment and personnel.
  • Document all daily activities at jobsites.
  • Review completed projects with LTT and Ops Manager to make improvements for future projects.
  • Complete daily time clock entries on time and correctly, complete Expense reports on time and correctly.
  • Assist CRI locations as directed by Regional Operations Manager.
  • Provide job site analysis when required to document jobsites activities and equipment operations. This will include, but are not limited to equipment performance, customer interaction and testing results.
  • Provide incident reports to Regional Operations Manager and Project Manager when situations require.

Shop (while not assigned to travel)

  • Report to the local Shop and work under the Shop Supervisor.
  • Check-in rental equipment upon return/termination of rental to ensure all equipment is returned in satisfactory condition.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on rental equipment to include operations and appearance.
  • Maintain cable inventory to include inspection of condition/repairs if needed and ensuring all cables are kept in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Perform testing on rental equipment to ensure that the equipment is available and ready-to-rent at all times.
  • Enter all testing and rental information in company software system.
  • Maintain shop and storage areas in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
  • Deliver and pick-up equipment as needed.
  • Assist customers as needed to ensure that rentals run as smooth as possible.
  • Maintain all shop equipment in good, safe working order.
  • Assist with shop projects which will include but are not limited to fabrication of new equipment and up grades to existing equipment.
  • Load and unload rental equipment on company vehicles, customer vehicles and commercial carriers.
  • Assist in design and fabricating but not limited to accessories, cable sets, enclosures and shipping cages.
  • Assist in quality control and safety programs.
  • Work on special projects designated by Regional Operations Manager.
  • Complete expense reports, timeclock entries, test sheets, Rental Results paperwork correctly and on time.

Technical Competencies

  • Be able to fill out logs/test sheets.
  • Read/interpret electrical schematics & drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and computers in general
  • Proficient in electrical formulas required to determine load bank capacities, power distribution and cable ampacity.
  • Proficient in interpreting data derived from testing in order to determine acceptable testing parameters for rental equipment.
  • Proficient in using electrical monitoring/testing equipment.
  • Proficient writing / communication skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years' experience in power distribution/generation field specifically with load banks, power distribution and power generation equipment.
  • High School Diploma
  • Good driving record with the ability to drive a company truck with trailer
  • Must be willing to have personal information sent to public and private organizations for security clearance and budgeting.
  • Be able to travel with little notice, up to 6 months out of the year (actual travel schedule will be dictated by rental opportunities)
  • Provide own hand tools
  • Formal Electrical Training
  • Passport
  • OSHA10 Cert.
  • First Aid/ AED/ CPR Cert.
