This is a temporary full time position with an expected end date of October 31, 2018.
Responsibilities
- Participate and support new program initiatives by providing information and analysis services that meet internal and external stakeholder requirements (primarily Market Development and Business development teams)
- Develop standard reports, dashboards etc. to support regular information requirements of the clients
- Assist in the development and preparation of business cases for new IT technology solutions impacting service delivery to internal clients and their information requirements
- Work effectively in a team to provide innovative analytical solutions to satisfy client needs, in a limited data and systems environment
- Project Manage internal client requests from requirements definition through to final delivery of data analysis solutions.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvements to existing business processes and systems to ensure operational effectiveness
- Administer the Business Intelligence support processes - common mailbox, work load planning documents, documents, data provisioning policies etc.
Qualifications
- University degree Information Management Computer Science, Statistical analysis, Economics, Business or Mathematics and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Certification in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, GIS, PMP will be an added advantage
- Demonstrated analytical and computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills ,problem solving skills, written and oral communication skills
- Strong client /customer focus
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced team environment
- Ability to translate company information requirements into systematized processes
- Ability to translate data into company actionable tactics
- Strong Understanding of relational databases and database concepts
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel, Access, SQL, Microsoft Dynamics, Hyperion and Business Objects
- Basic understanding of data modeling
- Understanding of Business Process analysis and methodologies and knowledge of process mapping tools (VISIO)
