This international position is located in the Montreal, Quebec, Canada area with travel to other provinces within eastern Canada. Goals are to lead suppliers through the process of developing and executing plans than ensure long term flow of defect-free products in support of LM Aero production.
Scope includes suppliers of the airframe commodities, including build-to-print, supplier design-authority, and MRO contracts.
The selected candidate will be accountable for collaborating with functional organizations and executive leadership at the supplier sites and at LM Aero to solve technical and contractual issues, and for ensuring supplier performance is aligned with achieving quality and affordability goals set by the LM Aero programs.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience developing performance improvements plans (i.e. one of the following: return-to-green plans, zero-defect plans, excellence plans).
- Experience interacting with one or more of the following: LM
- Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and/or Government Customer Representatives.
- Root Cause Analysis experience or training.
- Experience working independently with minimal supervision.
- Engineering or other technical Bachelor's or Master's degree (STEM)

- Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations.
- Green Belt or Black Belt, CQE or CMQOE certification.
- Demonstrated quality science expertise in one or more of the following areas: Statistical analysis, statistical process control, sampling, six sigma, FAI, PPAP, PFMEA, Red X, process auditing or validation, root cause analysis and corrective action validations, and supplier quality management.
- Ability to obtain Passport / Visa for International travel.
