Description
What you'll do
* As per IBEW Collective Agreement. * A Utility Fleet Mechanic repairs, maintains, modifies and commissions vehicles and equipment, including aerial devices.
* This includes using telematics to proactively manage maintenance.
What you bring
* As per IBEW Collective Agreement.
* Must be a red seal certified Automotive Service Technician, Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, and/or Truck and Transport Mechanic.
* Utility Fleet Mechanics will be provided Utility Fleet Mechanic (UFM) training and become UFM certified.
* A Utility Fleet Mechanic may be assisted by a Driver/Helper.
* A valid B.C. driver's licence Class 3 with air brake endorsement or ability to obtain same.
* Certification as a Commercial Vehicle Inspector is preferred.
