JOB SUMMARY
The Traffic Coordinator, Marketing is responsible for leading process & managing workflows across all marketing touchpoints, including internal and external partners, to ensure projects are prioritized, scoped, assigned and delivered on time. Verifies and evaluates job requisitions, creative briefs, action requests, and specifications; estimating staff resources; scheduling and expediting jobs; tracking job schedules; marshalling resources; communicating changes and job status; resolving problems; maintaining quality and cost standards. Supports broader Marketing initiatives and work-streams.
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
General responsibilities with standardized processes. Works under limited supervision. Resolves routine questions and problems. Refers the more complex issues to higher levels. Follows established procedures to accomplish requirements of job. Some latitude for deviation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintain marketing, promotional and communications calendars
Direct workflow to and from internal staff, vendors, and clients
Coordinate with all team members and effectively communicate schedule expectation
Assign job-related tasks and due dates to team members across departments
Delegate tasks as necessary to ensure team members are working on the most important projectsat all times
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met and all issues are effectively resolved
All other duties as assigned.
Be proactive in meeting all deadlines, ensuring projects are sent for proof, released andapproved on time
Create or assist in the creation of multiple project plans and schedules
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field; Or
5 years of traffic management in an agency or in-house creative setting.
SPECIAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
