The opportunity
Our Real-time Systems (RTS) team is evolving to meet the needs of our growing business and we are expanding our presence in Charleston to support the diverse real-time systems application portfolio.
We are seeking an Application Developer to provide support for multiple applications, including Control Room Management, Measurement, Gas Quality, PI Historian, and Operations Planning.
To support our broad portfolio of both on-premise and cloud applications, candidates should be comfortable working in hybrid environments.
What you'll do
- Work on solutions across both on-premise and AWS cloud environments
- Work with other subject matter experts (SMEs) in maintaining system documentation, including design documents, administration guides, data flow diagrams, and system architecture diagrams
- Learn and augment support for numerous applications within the RTS and PI portfolio
- Work to track, resolve, and/or mitigate Cybersecurity findings to comply with enterprise Cybersecurity requirements and industry best practices
- Participate in IS projects to reduce and optimize third-party spend in accordance with necessary business outcomes
Minimum Qualifications
- 4-year Computer Science, Engineering or Equivalent technical degree
- Academic or professional projects that demonstrate proficiency in application development concepts
- Courses of study or experience in relational database management systems
- General understanding of computer networking and cyber security concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ Years building and/or supporting IS Applications in the Oil & Gas Transmission industry
- Working knowledge of SCADA and gas measurement concepts
- Working knowledge of the OSIsoft PI Data Historian or other time-series databases
- 1+ Years of system integration experience with custom and COTS applications
- 1+ Years of AWS experience
